Dimples and freckles and grass clippings OH MY! I took Brighton and his buddy Luke to the splash pad the other day. The boys had a great time, until a group of kindergartners from a local school (in TWO busloads BTW) came and rained on their parade. To understand this, these boys go to a small school. Luke is a farm boy and Brighton lives sort of in the country in a house where he is the loudest part of it. So about 60 kindergartners screaming and honing in on their spash pad wasn’t exactly their cup of tea. Eventually they warmed up to it and played with the other kids, but it took a good hour and a few helpings of fruit at a break.
We’re all a little anti-social I guess. Myself included. I kinda like it that way.
